It took a man and his son to bring a real Georgia tourism treasure to the public. The Jack Hadley Black History Museum is focused on the accomplishments of black African-Americans from Thomasville and the rest of the state and nation. Here you will be able to learn about how important the blacks have been to the evolution of the country from the frontier to the present modern society.
One man and his son collected the thousands of items that are on display. Not only that but they have made sure that the items are available for research and viewing by anyone that has an interest in the importance of the history. You will be able to see things from the days of Martin Luther King, Jr. along with items of the Buffalo Soldiers and those slaves that worked on the plantations of the south.
It is located in Thomasville, Georgia and just waiting for you to come and learn and enjoy. The people of the area will be warm and welcoming. It will make a great stop on your Georgia vacation.
